Project:
This renovation and addition to a fire station was
completed in 2001 and designed by R.F. Lintack Architects. This
is one of many fire station projects undertaken by G.S. Wark Ltd.
The exterior is a combination of stucco, stone and curtain wall.
The exterior is also notable for its extensive and attractive landscaping.
This fire station renovation was part of the City of Hamilton’s
commitment to join the EMS services and fire stations together in
an attempt to streamline municipal services. GS Wark has also built
or renovated Fire Stations # 55, 11, and 6 in Hamilton, Ancaster
Central Fire Station in Ancaster, Ontario and Fire Station # 4 in
Burlington, ON.
