Benjamin Moore Resin Plant Walker’s Line, Burlington, ON

Project:

This industrial project involved the construction of a 12,200 square foot, multi storey plant for the manufacture of resins for special paint coatings. A tank farm and a cooling tower were also built. The principle building contains manufacturing and storage areas, a boiler room, an electrical room, a control laboratory, and a research laboratory. The building is a steel structure with a flat, built up roof and insulated sandwich panels on the walls. The spill containment area has three tanks buried 15 feet below ground. Incorporated into the project were over 120 wall and roof explosion relief wall panels.
